The currency market remains stable, so experts do not expect sharp exchange rate fluctuations in the coming days.

In Ukraine, the currency market will remain stable throughout July — without sharp fluctuations. The second month of summer is unlikely to become a month of currency sensations.
Banker Taras Lesovyi explained in a comment to “UNIAN” why there will be no sharp fluctuations in the near future.
According to him, the currency market will operate in a mode of “variable stability.” The currency market in July may be pressured primarily by the demand of importers — especially companies that purchase fuel and energy resources. Another factor is oil and fuel — if prices rise sharply, demand for currency may increase.
At the same time, if necessary, the National Bank has sufficient tools to compensate for excess demand with currency interventions and prevent sharp changes in the exchange rate.
Taras Lesovyi notes that one should not succumb to panic and hoard currency. It can be part of savings
“Especially if a person has future expenses abroad, for example, expenses for accommodation, education, or medical treatment. But it is not worth accumulating all funds in dollars just because the exchange rate has approached 45 UAH. Such an ‘act’ is emotional, without signs of pragmatism and thoughtfulness,” he says.
Dollar exchange rate
Lesovyi predicts that the dollar exchange rate may remain around 45 UAH, and also move higher situationally. However, without signs of loss of hryvnia stability or controllability. That is why there should not be a large rush to buy American currency.
“The most likely range of dollar fluctuations in July will be 44.5-45.5 UAH/USD. Ukrainians should be prepared that the 45 UAH mark may appear more and more often on price tags in exchange offices and banks,” the banker warned.
Euro exchange rate
In July, the euro exchange rate may be more volatile than the dollar. The approximate corridor will be 51–53 UAH/EUR. According to the banker, this is due to the fact that the euro is influenced not only by the situation in Ukraine but also by the euro-dollar ratio on the world market.
“If the euro/dollar pair ratio remains within 1.14-1.18, then no sharp surprises with the euro are expected,” Lesovyi emphasized.
As reported, in Ukraine, the rules for replenishing cards through terminals will change. According to the new National Bank resolution, to deposit cash, you will now need to confirm your phone number via a one-time password via SMS or during a call. Without this, it will not be possible to complete the transaction.
