On Wednesday, July 8th, Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk (WTA No. 13) will compete in the quarter-final match of Wimbledon-2026 against Italy’s Jasmine Paolini (WTA No. 17).
The match to determine a spot in the semi-finals of the grass-court major is scheduled to commence around 3:30 PM Kyiv time.
In the round of 16, Kostyuk secured a victory over American Ashlyn Krueger (6:4, 6:4), while Paolini defeated Filipina Alexandra Eala (6:4, 4:6, 6:3).
This marks Kostyuk’s inaugural Wimbledon quarter-final appearance. She has not previously advanced to the quarter-final stage of this Grand Slam tournament.
This encounter will be the third head-to-head match between the players. Marta has won one of their three prior meetings.
