The White House indicated that Melania Trump continues to collaborate with representatives from Ukraine and Russia to ensure the safe reunion of children with their families and communities.
According to the U.S. administration, five children have been successfully reunited with their relatives on this occasion. The First Lady of the United States emphasized that the protection of children should remain a paramount concern, irrespective of political disagreements between nations.
This latest operation is the fifth undertaken to facilitate the return and reunification of children, with Melania Trump’s support through her humanitarian initiative.
Last August, the White House disclosed that Mrs. Trump penned a letter to Putin, urging him to cease hostilities for the sake of children affected since the invasion commenced in February 2022.
Subsequently, in October, the First Lady revealed that she had communicated with Putin and persuaded him to reunite eight Ukrainian children with their families. In the ensuing months, several more children were released.
