Ukrainian writer, poet, musician, and serviceman Serhiy Zhadan made a surprising confession about the touring activities of the band «Zhadan i Sobaky».
The artist, with a laugh, mentioned that the collective currently has no plans to perform in Chernihiv. The reason for this choice was three unfortunate concerts that, according to Zhadan, took place in this very city.
According to the musician, after the first not-so-successful performance, the band decided to return to change the impression. However, the second attempt also failed to yield the desired outcome. Later, the collective held another concert, but it too proved unsuccessful.
«The three worst performances in our career were precisely in Chernihiv. After the first unsuccessful show, I thought we should break the pattern. We did a second one. It was unsuccessful. We did a third – and it was also unsuccessful. Unfortunately,» shared Serhiy Zhadan in an interview on the show «SuchiKrukyMuz».

At the same time, the artist did not specify what exactly caused such failures, leaving the details behind the scenes. Despite this, the musician emphasized that his words in no way relate to Chernihiv itself or its residents. On the contrary, Zhadan stressed that he holds the city and its people in high regard.
«But this is with all due respect to the city itself and the people I love very much. Wonderful and great people live there. Nothing personal. It’s just that such a thing happened,» added the musician.
Recall, recently Serhiy Zhadan unexpectedly revealed his ambiguous attitude towards modern Ukrainian music and what most offends him.
