Weather in Ukraine is changing dramatically — some regions are forecasting heavy rains and thunderstorms, while in the southeast, the temperature will rise to +34 degrees.

Forecasters have warned which regions will be hit by bad weather as early as July 20. It is at the beginning of the new week that Ukrainians can expect unstable weather.
This is indicated by data from the Ukrainian Meteorological Center.
On Monday, July 20, most regions will experience short-term rains and thunderstorms, with hail and squalls possible in some areas. At the same time, real summer heat will persist in the southeast, with temperatures rising to +34 degrees.
Rainy weather will continue
According to forecasters, the atmospheric front moving from the west will gradually weaken, but rain will still affect a significant part of the country.
The precipitation zone will subsequently shift:

July 21 — rains are forecast mainly in the central regions;

July 22 — precipitation will move to the north, south, and east;

July 23 — short-term thunderstorms are possible in most regions;

after July 24, the weather will become mostly dry, and the temperature will slightly decrease by the end of the week.

Kyiv region: thunderstorms, hail, and squalls
The weather will be most unsettled in the Kyiv region. The Ukrainian Meteorological Center has announced danger level I (yellow).
In some places, significant rains are expected at night, with thunderstorms, hail, and squalls of 15–20 m/s possible during the day. The air temperature will be +16…+21° at night and +25…+30° during the day; in Kyiv, it will be +19…+21° and +27…+29°.
Forecasters warn that the bad weather may complicate the work of energy, utility, and construction companies, as well as affect traffic.
Western Ukraine: cooler and rainy
In the western regions, the temperature will be lower than in the rest of the country.
Lviv region
Short-term rains and thunderstorms are forecast for the night and morning; significant precipitation is not expected during the day. The temperature will remain moderate. In the region — +11…+16° at night, +22…+27° during the day; in Lviv — +13…+15° at night, +23…+25° during the day.
Chernivtsi region
Fog is possible at night and in the morning; short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible during the day.

region: +14…+19°, in the mountains +9…+14°, during the day +21…+26°.
South: Odesa without precipitation
In the Odesa region, forecasters predict calmer weather. In Odesa on July 20, variable cloudiness is expected without significant precipitation.
The air temperature will be +21…+29°.
Center and East: heat up to +31 degrees
Hot weather will persist in the central and eastern regions.

North: warm, but without intense heat
On July 20, the region is forecast to have temperatures of +14…+28°. According to the general forecast of the Hydrometeorological Center, short-term rains and thunderstorms are also possible in the region.
What the temperature will be like throughout the week
According to forecasters, throughout the week, the temperature in most regions will be:

during the day +24…+30°.
In the southeast of the country, it will reach up to +34° in places, while in the west and north, it will be cooler: +19…+25°.
It should be noted that by the end of the week, a slight decrease in temperature is expected in Ukraine: during the day, mostly +21…+28°, and in the southeast — up to +32°.
Previously, it was also reported that a significant deterioration of weather conditions is expected in most regions of Ukraine.
Forecasters predict thunderstorms, with hail, squalls, and heavy rains in some places.
