The current widespread fascination with Tarot cards, astrology, and various forms of divination is a grave sin, and the price for such services can prove to be prohibitively high.

The popular current obsession, including among those in power, with Tarot cards, astrology, and various fortune-telling practices is a serious transgression that has no connection with faith.
This was stated by Oleksiy Filyuk, a well-known priest and blogger from the Ternopil region, who enjoys responding to unusual and rather curious questions from his subscribers.
The pastor urged Christians to stay as far away as possible from modern mysticism.
“It is not from God; it is sinful. It is written in the Old Testament that cursed is the one who consults mediums, fortune-tellers, those who summon spirits, all those sorcerers… it is not from God, it is from the devil,” emphasized Filyuk.
He believes that in exchange for such “services” from the beyond, a person pays with their most precious possession – their soul.
“And the price for such services can be quite high. The price can even be a human soul. And what can a person give in return for their soul? What will they give? Nothing. Therefore, resorting to such spiritualism and Satanism is not necessary for practicing Christians,” the priest explained.
Filyuk drew attention to the spiritual inconsistency of many people who try to combine visits to church with consultations with esoteric practitioners, calling such behavior a sign of “non-Christianity.”
“And if you are non-Christians, then you go to ‘babas’ (fortune-tellers – Ed.), to ‘dedas’ (healers – Ed.), but there will be no benefit from it. There will be no benefit, and do not believe it. They will extract money from you and good luck to you, dark-eyed ones, it won’t help anything. Or it will make things worse, you’ll give your soul to the devil. Therefore, do not consult tarot readers and all those people,” Oleksiy Filyuk concluded.
We remind you that prosecutors stated in court that former head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, consulted with a contact named “Veronika Fenshui Office” regarding ministerial appointments.
According to the SAP, Yermak sent the fortune-teller **data on the birth dates of potential candidates for high state positions** to receive a “green light” for their appointments. Among the individuals whose fates were allegedly determined by the stars were key figures in Ukrainian politics.
Later, journalists found out who was hiding under this nickname – it is Veronika Anikievych (also uses the surname Danylenko), who resides in **Kyiv and calls herself an astrology consultant.**
However, **the Office of the President officially denies any cooperation of its employees with astrologers or fortune-tellers.**
