All proceeds from the sale of T-shirts will be used to fund future film projects.
Japanese brand Uniqlo has released a charity T-shirt featuring the name of Ukrainian director Maryna Er Gorbach. The drop was created in collaboration with The Displacement Film Fund, a foundation established last year by Cate Blanchett to support films exploring the experiences of forced displacement.

Currently, the fund has supported 5 directors from around the world. Among them are Sundance Film Festival’s Best Director award winner Maryna Er Gorbach from Ukraine, Locarno Film Festival laureate Mohad Abdiweli Harav from Somalia, Golden Bear and Cannes Film Festival Jury Prize winner Mohammad Rasoulof from Iran, Hassan Kattan from Syria, and Shahramo Sadat from Afghanistan. The names of all five directors became the basis for the design of the charity T-shirt, developed by Dutch design agency 75B.
The drop is part of Uniqlo’s PEACE FOR ALL charity initiative, launched in 2022. Since then, over 10 million T-shirts have been sold worldwide under this project.
The T-shirt is now available on the official Uniqlo website for $29.90. All profits from its sale will be donated to The Displacement Film Fund to finance new film projects.
Maryna Er Gorbach is a Ukrainian director whose film “Klondike,” dedicated to a family caught in the epicenter of the MH17 crash tragedy, received the Ecumenical Jury Prize in the “Panorama” section at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival and the award for best directing at the Sundance Film Festival. The Ukrainian Oscar Committee also selected the film as Ukraine’s official entry for the 2023 Oscars in the “Best International Feature Film” category.

It was within the framework of The Displacement Film Fund program that Maryna Er Gorbach shot her new film “Rotation.” The world premiere of the film took place on January 30, 2026, at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, and the Ukrainian premiere was in June at the Mykolaichuk OPEN Film Festival in Chernivtsi. “Rotation” tells the story of a young Ukrainian woman who, after transitioning from civilian life to military service, undergoes a ritual of therapeutic hypnosis, seeking inner resilience in her new reality.
