The next, 36th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense in the “Ramstein” format will take place in early September 2026 in an online format.
This was reported to Suspilne by the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain.
Earlier, British Defense Secretary Wes Streeting, during his first visit to Kyiv after taking office, said that after the September “Ramstein,” he wants to convene the Contact Group again in early October.
“So that we can gain momentum and provide Ukraine with the necessary support on the eve of the cold winter,” he said.
The 35th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense in the “Ramstein” format took place on June 18 in Brussels. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally participated in it then.
