For the fourth consecutive day, protests are ongoing across Ukraine with demands to reinstate Mykhailo Fedorov as Defense Minister and dismiss the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Citizens have taken to the streets in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kropyvnytskyi, Lutsk, Cherkasy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mukachevo, Chernivtsi, Uzhhorod, and other cities.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on July 14, the Verkhovna Rada supported the resignation of Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko. Along with Svyrydenko, the entire government automatically resigned.
On July 16, in several Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, people began protesting against Mykhailo Fedorov’s dismissal from the post of Defense Minister.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the mass protests against Fedorov’s dismissal are an element of democracy and freedom, which Ukraine is currently fighting for.
On July 18, it became known that the head of state held a series of consultations, including with former Defense Minister Fedorov and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi. The President promised new decisions regarding the army.
