The Embassy of Ukraine in Germany advises Ukrainians departing from Ukraine to the European Union to obtain stamps from Ukrainian border guards upon exiting.
The Ukrainian Embassy in Germany shared this information on Facebook.
The embassy indicated that this advice is intended to reduce potential difficulties when applying for temporary protection in EU member states.
Furthermore, the embassy stated that all Ukrainian citizens, regardless of gender or age, should receive a stamp in their passports when leaving Ukraine.
On July 30th, the European Union formally approved the extension of temporary protection for Ukrainians for an additional year, until March 4th, 2028.
New conditions for granting this status are also now in effect. The primary modification is that this status will not be granted to individuals unable to verify their fulfillment of military obligations in accordance with Ukrainian law.
