The Supervisory Board of the Energy Efficiency Fund has made a decision that will allow condominium associations (OSBBs) that joined the “Energy Home” program before the full-scale invasion to complete their comprehensive thermal modernization projects, as reported on the Fund’s website.
From now on, OSBBs that applied to participate in the “Energy Home” Program before February 24, 2022, and are implementing package “B” measures, can complete their project after undertaking one or two mandatory measures: insulation of external walls and/or the roof. Other measures within package “B” are not compulsory for this category of participants.
Package “B” (comprehensive) includes all measures from package “A” (primarily modernization of the building’s engineering systems), if they were not previously implemented, as well as insulation of building structures: walls, roof, attic, and basement.
The adopted changes are intended to support OSBBs whose project implementation was complicated or suspended due to the full-scale war, and to create conditions for the successful completion of comprehensive energy modernization of these apartment buildings.
The decision entered into force on July 23, 2026.
As reported on the Energy Efficiency Fund’s website, since April 22, 2026, the acceptance of new applications under the “Energy Home” and “VidnovyDIM” programs has been temporarily suspended for technical reasons, adapting the programs to the requirements of Ukraine Facility. Additionally, since April 4, due to limited resources, the acceptance of new applications under the “GreenDIM” program has also been temporarily suspended.
